1. Employees of the VFS call center would not give you any help/advise other than reading their policy. They speak extremely fast and did not listen to what question you were actually asking.

I sincerely hope that VFS would be replaced by other service providers as soon as possible.

Applicants who are having troubles regarding their applications should seek help from the consulate directly. Skip VFS, they won't help you.

Consulate General of Denmark actually replied in time and was really helpful.

Then (Aug. 18) I wrote a email to the embassy and got replied in a couple of hours. I got my visa approved since my departure date is just in a few days. Sounds like a happy ending right? Indeed I am really grateful that the Consulate General helped me through this process.

I applied my visa in July. The normal processing time is 12-15 DAYs according to the official website of Consulate General of Denmark. After 26 days, I still have not received any info regarding my application. Then I called the number provided on my application receipt.

The following is what happened and made me pretty upset.

However, today (Aug. 21), I received a email from VFS call center stating that they cannot give me any info regarding my application blahblahblah. See, they would not even look into your case. Otherwise they would know that my application has been approved and sent out from their own system.

3. They insisted that they could not help me contact the embassy and stated that the embassy would not response to any kind of personal inquiry.

I called VFS 3 times in 3 days (Aug 17 & Aug 18). I also sent an email with all required info to VFS on August 17.

Like a little slice of home, right here in the Big Apple.

2. They promised but they did not call me or send me an email when my visa application was approved.
